hey

so this is just a quick blog just to inform you all that we haven't been doing a whole lot. We've been chilling out on the beach mainly. Our last morning in Byron we went sea kayaking in the hope of seeing some dolphins but due to the storm the night before we didnt get to see any. We were also taken to a rescue centre where we saw some sea turtles and were lucky to see some hatchlings. Apparently this is rare!!

We've been on a few shopping trips here in surfers but think we are both ready to move on as with limited funds this isn't really the best place for us and our temptations of shopping! We are leaving for Brisbane this afternoon and spending the night with Jo's australian friends she met when travelling Europe before going to spend a couple of days with one of our best friends from back home up in Maryborough. After that its a little bit of camping on the agenda!

We are happy to say the weather has picked up for us lately with only a couple of rain storms in the evenings.
