So, after randomly bumping into some Maidstone guys that we knew (what are the chances ey?!) and hanging out in Noosa, we headed off to Rainbow Beach. Here we went on our Fraser Island trip. We were in a group with 11 people, all crammed into a 4x4 jeep - cosey! We had a wiiiicked time driving round the island, stopping at beautiful clear water lakes, and camping on the beach! We were driving round with 2 other jeeps full of people from our hostel too, so there was 33 of us making our way round together, which was pretty fun! It did cause some problems at times though, with trying to organise everyone and make decisions, but we got by and our group really pulled together. We had such a good group, TEAM WOOOOORK :) It did POUR it down with rain the first night though...so Heather's first use of her sleeping bag was a wet one! Unfortunately Jo managed to break her camera here....uhoh....She did however give it a go beach driving! She can now say she's driven a 4WD!

Now we've headed onto 1770 (which is actually the name of the town!), so enjoyed an afternoon at the beach since it was bright sunshine and 31'c ;) Tomorrow we may try out Scooteroo'ing...if it is a good idea to let Jo behind the wheel of a Scooter again?! hahaha!!!

Then it's off to Kroombit Cattle Station with the Oz Experience, and Whitsundays! So good times ahead!
