So, this is the first chance we've had to get back on the internet, so i'll have to offer a quick overview of the past couple of days...

well, we have been on our "tour", driving with Biroo (our wicked driver dude) - he takes great care of us :) we went to the Taj Mahal - it wasn't as expected, but it was really cool!! very busy, weirdly full of Indians though - i think we were the centre of more photos than the Taj Mahal itself though - it must be our beauty hahaha...or just our white skin... We later went to the Agra Fort which was huuuuge.

Next up, after Agra, was Ranthambhore, where we went on safari and hunted down a wild tiger - exciting stuff being thrown all over the place in a tiger chase on a truck! But we got pretty close, which was ace cos it was wiiiiild.

After this, we drove to Pushkar, where we are now! We rode a camel today across the sandy countryside and walked the sandy dunes. It was really peaceful out there.

The drives themselves have possibly been the best part because we feel we're seeing true Indian culture - we've been passing through so many villages, and theyre all pretty poor! we've seen loads of camels, cows, goats and monkeys along the way too, just roaming the streets.
