Still blogging, so we haven't been shot, knived or mugged yet (touch wood!) :)
First Impressions
L.A is possibly the weirdest place I've been to. So many people just love to have conversations with themselves. We've figured a good 80% of these toffs are either on crack or just fancy being a little bit crazy just for the hell of it. Some guy definitely thought he had cobwebs all over his face, waving his arms like an ape with a twitch... Another poor devil literally looked like a walking dustbin. Had to avoid that one whilst I was busting for the loo.
Page Museum
Page Museum was pretty interesting... Once we found the bloody thing. They had fossils and bones from crazy amounts of years ago! Back in the day, when Sabre-Toothed Cats were running the joint, Giant Sloths were about too... Which made me feel a litt bit sick. If their research is accurate (which I'm sure it is... They had proper, ligit, Jurassic Park style labs)... Giant Sloths were full on fugly creatures. Fugly.
Got some pretty decent snaps from there anyway.
Cinema
After going on a mad, wild goose chase for this Museum, we decided to get food, and see a Movie. Elysium is the film we decided to see. Even the popcorn here is different. Think they just use butter to coat it rather than salt or sugar. Was DAYMN tasty.
Exercise & Budgeting
So, that was day ONE. Day TWO... Started fresh. Got up nice and early (probably pissed off all the other travellers in our dorm. ) They are all boys... boys who like their sleep. I ruined any chance of that by rattling my squishy bags at 7am. Once I finally stopped creating a one man band with my belongings, I went to Pan Pacific Park Los Angeles for a workout.
Nabbed our free breakfast from Banana Bungalow, then set off to Farmer's Market to suss a budget meal strategy. We left with a massive brown loaf, bottled water and honey. Dinner for the next week. Can't wait.
Hollywood - Walk of Fame
Full of bloody crazies. So many people all dressed up as characters/look-a-likes. Saw a couple of Johnny Depps, Cat Woman, MJ, Marilyn Monroe and so on. Even saw a big, black Zoro. Both times we saw him, he was just wayyy too engrossed in his packet of crisps, which me & Moses found quite amusing.
The Walk of Fame & Chinese Theatre was cool. Highlight would definitely have to be Will Smith's hand print. He's just amazing
Made a right prat of myself today...Had a picture with the Jean Simmons hand print. Me thinking Rockstar Gene Simmons from KISS... I decide to whip out a classic Rock pose (tongue out, all the works)... No Heather. Jean Simmons is infact an actress that I should probably know about. NOT THE LEAD SINGER FROM KISS.
Quote of the Day:
Me - "Has that crackhead gone yet?"
Moses - "No... He's in the toilet."

Hannah Loved this. You're practically the next Bill Bryson, only slightly prettier... :P It's good to see you're having fun around the Crazies - I bet they love you! I've already had people asking after you both, and MOSES - you need to jump in some photos too. All the best, Hannah x x x
