Dear Diary

Here we are in beautiful Kilifi. Tammy has sorted out a very fanchyschmance house for us and the friends that jetted over from London to celebrate Nicks 40th birthday. Paradise!

The best thing about this place is that it comes with a cook, Muhambi, who is God in the kitchen. He makes the most tasty fish currys you will ever eat. There is no point leaving the house for meals because we don't want to miss out on any of his amazingness. He doesn't speak much English so we are not sure where he learnt to cook, or if he was just born that way?

Tammy: in a tuk tuk on way back from shops with ketchup required for my video.

Earlier we bought a 5kg Dorado (?) fish from the local fisherman who comes past the house each day. Muhambi will miraculously turn this into Nick's favourite meal with chips tonight.

At sunset we are embarking on a Dhow cruise, with Tusker beer and samosas.

They say life starts at 40, Nick says if it continues like this he will be more than happy :-)
