The new hostal seems to be alright. The bed is comfortable because I didnt leave it until half 9 this morning!!!

I have spent the day shopping!!!!!!!!! We walked to the main 3 shopping malls. Two were really good and one was pants. I bought some socks and a t-shirt. Nothing really exciting! Altogether we have probably waled about 3-4 miles today so we are practising for Macchu Picchu!

If you think London is bad for pollution (ie. fumes and stuff) you need to come here. I cant make my mind up wether the haze everywhere in the sky is clouds / mist or black fumes coming from every bus. It is disgusting.

We had a massive thunderstorm last night and it was still raining this morning. The weather is crazy here. Even the locals do not know what to expect!

We are not having crepes tomight as kerry had a bit of a stomach ache last night. We will try somewhere different I think. I like the look of the chocolate shop over the road but we havent even had a look in there yet!

Anyway, another boring day in Quito, we're off to Ottavalo tomorrow though!
