We arrived into Hanoi on the night train at 4am, again half asleep as we loaded ourselves onto another mini bus at the station which took us on a three hour journey to Ha Long Bay. The weather was a bit dissapointing; very cold and cloudy.

We had a bit of a sleep in the hotel (in our giant room) before boarding our Junk boat (the word 'Junk' not doing the boat any justice). It was such a lovely boat and all the tables were laid out for lunch for us. We were served a six course lunch whilst the boat travelled around the the 3000 islands and rocks of Ha Long Bay. It was extremely beautiful, even with the bad weather. We went to a fish farm and to a huge cave and returned to land at about 4pm to chill out before grabbing some dinner (more food). I didn't really think much to Ha Long city, but its all about the islands here.
