Yes i've actually now see the Vatican City, yesterday we went to the Sistine Chapel and St. Peters Basilica, both of which were quite awe inspiring. The Sistine Chapel was really beautiful, but not what i was expecting. It was incredibly busy which was a bit of a shame. St. Peters was definately my favourite of the two, it was aaaaaaaaaaamazing and so beautiful. We climbed to the top of the Cupola and had an amazing view of Rome, even if we did have to climb 320 steps after getting the lift half way up! Last night we saw Rome by night on a bus tour. We got to see the Trevi Fountain (cue cheesy pictures of us throwing money into it!) and Bernini's four rivers fountain. Both were beautiful and it was really great to see Rome at night. The electricity bill for this city must be huge because every single fountain is lit up along with many of the old buildings!! Today we're going back to the Trevi fountain and then going to the Spainish Steps, i think we're just going to wander around and see what tourist junk we can find! Tomorrow we're getting the train to Venice and staying there for three nights, im looking forward to it!
