Yes i've actually now see the Vatican City, yesterday we went to the Sistine Chapel and St. Peters Basilica, both of which were quite awe inspiring. The Sistine Chapel was really beautiful, but not what i was expecting. It was incredibly busy which was a bit of a shame. St. Peters was definately my favourite of the two, it was aaaaaaaaaaamazing and so beautiful. We climbed to the top of the Cupola and had an amazing view of Rome, even if we did have to climb 320 ...

I'm alive, we've now made it to Italy. We arrived here in Rome yesterday after a huuuuuge journey involving two ferries, four trains, a coach and a taxi! We got an overnight ferry from Patras in Greece to Bari in Italy. Our inter-rail tickets include the ferry what we didn't know was that when they said 'deck class' it actually meant sleeping on the deck. Oh yes we curled up in our sleeping bags on the floor.
