Up early for our flight home.....transfer arranged, hassel free.
Dust cleared somewhat for our departure. Great to have seen Dubai, love the cleanliness and extreme low crime rate, a credit to Skeikh 'whats his name'.
Airport is as clean as the Metro.....someone there to clean the toilet once it has been used, and it's free!

Have to get one of the 'gold' mobile phones........Arabs seem to be obsessed with gold in any form.

Flight OK, much rather cruise between cities (and sleep on the way) neither of us able to sleep on flights.
Arrived home to a hero's welcome!
So wonderful to get back to what really counts in life.......family and home sweet home!

A few tips to remember next time....
- Don't take any luggage without wheels (including cabin baggage).
- Don't take anything you need to iron.
- Use heaps of waterless hand gel to ward off sickness.
- Go on organised tours where possible, you see and learn heaps more.
- Don't bother with a hairdryer, check website before travelling.
- Make sure to allow breaks in the journey for rest up time....you need that.
- Use Travelsim in mobile phones - works like a charm and a heap cheaper.
- Don't bother with any fancy 'Travel Money Cards' just use credit or debit cards.
- Don't buy any gifts for anyone until the last stop, and make them alll unbreakable!!
