All ashore on Mykonos......cool and cloudy at 0630. Lots of expensive boats moored.....gorgeous white houses on the hills. Well if that isn't the cutest town......and that was on a terrible day weatherwise (big thunderstorm)..... Imagine what it would look like on a sunny day. Off to explore Istanbul, been warned about thieves and pick pockets.......wonderful. Docking at 0800, lots of ships in port, reminds us of ships off Newcastle....even have a tug helping us dock. Fine so far, cool. Not sure why but on this trip we have been striking all the public holidays.....today is a national holiday in Turkey would you believe..... It seems that the entire population of 15 million are out on the streets. Istanbul is the only city in the world...

Another perfect day on the Mediteranean......beautiful day, a bit of a swell today. So far so good. Catch up day today after 2 big days in Egypt. Early morning breakfast cruising on the Nile.....(bloody GF diet!!).......craving rice porridge, I'm over bacon and eggs.
