Hi hellie, Happy 2006 then duck, sorry it's a bit late but you know, places to go, people to see ! Not really, we were at home new years eve looking after the kids. I am finally one of those people who sit at home shouting about fireworks being allowed on any night other than fireworks !!

Sounds as though you are having a fab time, though I do think you should try a really cheap hostel and stay there for at least 2 nights ! You need to find out how the other half live !! I am really glad you are having a great time mate !

U need to get out a basic book of animals you seem to be lacking in animal species! HAHAHA! HAPPY NEW YEAR Helena!! I'm back home now from my christmas / new year trip to glasgow. Had a really good time, new year was good tradtional scottish one. Missed the girls on new years eve but i'll have plenty of nights with them this year. Just been looking at all your photos and it all looks fantastic, wish i was there with you. Hello my love. 2006 is finally here and I'm back to work after a well needed week off and although I really don't want to be here I'm glad to be able to catch up on all your messages and new photos - all of which are fantastic as always. What an amazing Itinery you guys have - nothing like bringing in the New Year in style! Thank you for my Xmas card and Xmas message - you're very sweet and it bought a tear to my eye. Glad you had a wicked Xmas and New Year - 1's of a lifetime no doubt. Mine was excellent too as always - love the family thing and grub on Xmas day and New Year in Liverpool (well it was celebrated in Warrington) was like yours, different but brilliant. I burst into tears at the chimes - glad to be bringing in 2006 with Scouse but also coz I missed the family and dare I say it the Trades! Where a certain person was - so kind of a good idea we weren't there but kind of wish we had been too! Happy new year everyone!!! This is for you Hellie and the guys back in Stubb as I've been slack and sent hardly any happy new year texts! It sounds like you had an amazing Xmas and new year! Although I was away too (Lanzarote again) I don't think it really compared to Xmas day on Bondi beach or new years watching the Sydney fireworks! I saw some of the fireworks on TV and they looked amazing! Lanzarote was nice though. Would have been a lot better without my brother but you can't have everything! My grandad was on fine form so that made it really! If I'm still eyeing up the opposite sex like him at 85 I'll be happy with my life! Went out with some friends in Reading for a meal on new years, which was nice and relaxing really, which was good after the battles with my brother over xmas! Back to work tomorrow, which I am very much not looking forward to but I'll be off again next week to move house (which I'm oddly looking forward to) so I'm not too depressed at the prospect of work! It has just suddenly hit me - Helen is travelling!!

Hay people, happy new year to you all! Hope you all had a good one? Mine was really good, went to watch the fireworks and we camped out all day so we had a good seat for the evening. They were amazing! I've started to download some pictures from the last week or so, havnt got time to finish as i'm flying to cairns in 2 hours!! Yes, me, teresa and kate are starting out east coast trip from tonight! It'll take us 3.5 hours to get there and there is 1 hour time difference. I'll email our proper itinerary when i have time, but to wet your apetites, heres a taster.......1 day snorkelling on the great barrier reef, 2 days in the rainforest cape tribualtion, 3 days 2 nights sailing around the whitsunday on a yacht with 23 other people, 1 days dolphin kayaking, 2 days, 1 night fraser island and some other stuff! I'll be back in sydney around the 24th jan in time to meet my big brov! Anyway, i'll be back on line soon to download the rest of my pics. It was 45 degrees here in sydney yesterday the hottest day since 1939! I didnt go out of the flat! Hope your all ok? Love Helen xxxxxxxx

Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is almost 3 in the afternoon here so it should now be 2006 over there and I am sure you are very drunk by now. It was really good to speak to you on christmas eve, while we were having great fun in the talisman! It is great looking at all your pictures but don't have time to read all the messages as there are so many.
We had snow here on thursday night, it was great! unfortunately it only lasted one night but we still have time for a big snow ball fight and I built a snow man and made snow angels!
We are off to the joseph paxton tonight!!!!!!! I think it is only me and Kara with all of Robs friends. Never mind I am sure your new years eve has been much more exciting.

Hey hunny, how is you??? I'm fine, sat at home watching the good old festive films on the box - nothing much exciting. Xmas was ok, a bit upsetting with my Granny and things but apart from that it was great (as always to spend time with the family). going out Saturday night with Juenna and Holly to Walkabout for New Years Eve as we all seem to be spread all across the world this year - we are going to get drunk and have loads of fun. So how was xmas day in the sun??
