We got picked up by a pick-up truck at 9.30am then got transferred onto a minibus. The journey to Vang Vieng was very scenic with mountains, hills and forests. We passed many small villages on the way. We arrived at 2.45pm, which was quicker than expected. We got dropped off in the town centre, where Jay looked for suitable accommodation. We went back to the same cafe (Cafe Banvat Sene) as yesterday for breakfast as it was cheap and so tasty. We had a lay in for a change. We eventually got up for breakfast, we went to a cafe and both had a freshly made hot baguette. Jay had it with cream cheese and Helen had it with butter. It cost 9000 LAK/70p, very cheap. It was the best baguette we have had, it was soft bread in the inside and crispy on the outside. We had a lay in until 10am, we had our complimentary breakfast which was muesli with papaya and yoghurt. After breakfast we packed our stuff ready for our flight to Laos.
