After a horrible 12 hour journey we arrived in Bangkok bitten from head to toes because I am SUREEEE my minging squeaking-all-the-blaaaddy-way seat was ridden with bugs! Still kicking (and scratching) myself for doing another long bus journey after hating the first but it meant paying £6 rather than a £40 flight...however I would pay £34 to get rid of the bites but hey! Arriving a 6am having not slept we booked ourselves into a reaaaaonably nice hotel and sle...

This morning when we woke up we set straight off to Noi's elephant camp where we got to go on another elephant ride but this time it was bareback riding which was a lot more fun. We were taken down to the river where we then got to swim with the elephants and they were trained to throw us off like bucking bronko's into the water. The elephants also kept blowing water at us while sat on her back! We then drove back to Pai for another breakfast at the Witching we...

On the way home from the hot springs we raced to Pai Canyon to watch the sunset. The view was incredible even though was a hard climb after such a long day. To get there we also crossed a World War 2 bridge! We ate dinner at the late night market trying lots of different things from different stalls and then made our way back to our not so luxury bungalow!

We then set off on a rented motorbike northwest of Pai to Mor Paeng waterfall where you could literally slide down the surface of the stones and off the edge into the pool below. We also jumped off the side of it together too :) From there we went 8km below Pai on the bike to Tha Pal Hotspring. This was a spring where at the top the watee was so hot it could boil and egg (80•) and even though ur not suppose to a local guy gave us two eggs and they were delish...

We arrived in Pai late last night and checked into Happy House guesthouse. For £3 each a night we couldn't refuse the bungalow they had available. But when we arrived we realised it was just the two of us staying in it...we also had to share it with a crab, a slug and a worm and many more other creatures I'm sure we didn't know about.
