We were dreaming of a white christmas, and that is what we got, however while the snow was covering the ground and trees, the sun was shinning in the sky. We could not have wished for a better day to go skiing. We started the day by hiring our gear and went out to the meeting point to find our instructor. We ended up with Jana from Belgium. She was a fantastic instructor and had us both skiing in no time. We have both discovered that we should stick to the skiing...

Sheree has asked (told) me to do the blog entry for today, so here goes...We started today with our lesson for snowboarding, so firstly we had to get kitted out in the correct gear, we found it quite difficult to walk once we had the boots on but we did fit in with the 'Whistler Snow Boarders' with all our gear. We then headed up the moutain for our first lesson, suprisingly we did very well, however, I am currently aching with the amount of times that I fell ove...

Today was the beginning of our adventure activities, and what a way to start, ziplining the longest zipline in North America (2200ft) We got up to around 80 km on that line and the view over the river was fantastic. On the last line (there were 5 in all) we were taught how to zip upside down. It was great fun but very cold (wind chill). After a quick change of clothes (actually, after adding more layers) we headed off for our second activity, riding the snowmobil...

Well today was the day we have really been looking forward to. We headed off to the airport around 9:30 and were picked up by a very chatty taxi driver who was keen to tell us all about Seattle particularly Boeing but he was hard to understand. We killed time at the airport using the free internet until our plane arrived. It was very small for an international flight, (check it out in the photo albums). When we landed we eventually found our shuttle connection...
