We started the day a little later as we both had a bit of a sleep in then we went for a walk and found a small café that served a good cheep breakfast. We ate really quickly hoping that we could catch the early shuttle to the Capilano Suspension Bridge which proved to be a really good decision. We got to the bridge at around 11:00 am so there wasn't really a big crowd there. We grabbed our capilano passports and headed off to collect stamps at each of the activities in the park. The bridge was quite slippery because of the ice and was really wobbly. But the view from the middle was worth it.After crossing the bridge we did the tree-top and cliff edge walks and then made our way back across the suspension bridge. As we waited for the shuttle to return to Vancouver I suggested that we rent bikes and ride around Stanley Park.Rene laughed thinking I was joking. He stopped laughing when I asked the bus driver to drop us at the bike rental place. Then I made him hand over his credit card to pay!!!After some initial hesitation even Rene enjoyed the sight that we were able to see by using bikes instead of walking. All in all we covered about 12 to 13 km of the Park and saw sights like the Lions Gate Bridge from different viewpoints, the lighthouse, gun, the statue of the runner and the lakes in the middle of the park.We went back to the hotel for a short rest and headed out to a Greek/Italian restaurant right near the hotel for dinner before watching some TV and an early night. We have a big travel day tomorrow and are expecting delays with the new security measure to get into the US.
