Continuing from yesterday...
The bungalows hadnt been paid by the Arun Lucky Travel company we used to set us up with transfers and accomodation on the islands..and wanted us to pay them.No way,weve already paid! What sort of company doesnt pay a place BEFORE you check in?! We refused amd said its not our fault,he shoulda paid them,our receipt proves we have paid! The guy who owns the bungalows said hes been trying to ring them n they keep saying tommorrow but dont pay...not our probldm!
We told him to ring them again and WE would speak to them! He rang and they wouldnt pick up the phone.
So we made a suggestion...the tourist police.
They seemed reluctant to do that but we said its simple...weve paid,he needs to pay them but wont,hes the one that owes them money,we dont.We are not paying again,how else shall we sort it? So we went to the tourist police offices and miraculously he answers the phone and pays up,before we even went inside!

Hmm.Now we know how to deal with scams! warning to people in Bangkok...DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING WITH ARUN LUCKY TRAVEL.hes a complete con artist!
For the amount we paid the bungalow isnt good,and the guy who owns them said hed had the same problem before with this company! Why the police hadnt been called before i dont know.If we have any problems on koh samui i will def be getting the Thai police involved! Bloody cheek! Off to koh samui tomorrow so lets hope its smooth sailing!
