Today we went to Cape Leeuwin the most south westerly point in Australia. Just out from this wild and windy headland (rather like Cornwall) is one of the most dangerous places in the world for shipping. The sun is just rising over the dam ( lake to us) and shining in through our bedroom windows. Around us are grape vines, an olive grove,an orange grove, some sheep in fields and then the bush.
