Howdy! So rome is a bit disapointing for me but its stil been great. Yesterday we got up and did laundry (which was an ABSOLUTE must!ha!) then we went walking around with this cool Aussie, Sam, to see some of the city. We stopped at the tomb f the lost soldier and went inside. it was sooo cool to see the old military uniforms and the artifacts they had from the war. Then since our tour bus sucked we just walked over to the collosseum. We were giong to go inside but it was a bit expensive and the line was very long, so we didnt. Then from there we went on the rest of the bus tour (did i mention it sucked?) and back to the hostel. By that time it was about 745 and we were supposed to leave for the pub crawl at 8 so we booked it into something that didnt stink and headed out with 7 other people from our hostel. The crawl was great!! it was really gcool to meet all those people and just hang out. Then we went to this club (with the crawl which ws at least 100 people but probably more) and just danced. After we came home we slept and spent most of today not doing much, especially since most of the people from the crawl werent having teh best of "mornings" (it was about noon by the time everyone was awake). We then ventured off to get some food and went to the spanish steps and the trevi fountain which was amazing! then we did a little shopping but no one got anything. And now we are back to the hostel waiting for dinner (this place makes us free dinner which is AWESOME! ha!). After we eat we are calling it an early night! Then tomorrow its off to the vatican for sure. i am REALLY excited for that! then tomorrow it is off to Florence.
