Hey there! So i know i said Munich for my last one but we spent time in Fussen first so i am doing this so it can post to my map.

Fussen was AMAZING!!! This is the place where there are castles that Walt Disney used to Model the Disney Prin cess castles after... so naturally we had to visit. Once we took the night train to Munich we dropped our packs off and headed out to Fussen. On the night train we shared a room with this sweet lgirl from Korea. She was SOO cute! She too was going to Fussen so we invited her to come along with us. Then on the train to Fussen we met these 2 girls from Wisconsin who were also going to we turned it into a group event. The castles were so beautiful as was the scenery. It was so green and lush and it was jsut wonderful! it was also QUITE chilly as it was VERY high up in the mountain (hense the picture of a cottage in the swiss alps) so that was a VERY nice change from the heat we endured in Italy. We got a student discount that allowed us to have english guided tours through both castles which was great! we got to hear the history and uses of the castles which was SO interesting. The first castle was the parents summer/hunting house and was gorgeous, but the second (Disneys model) was so detailed and elaborate. Too bad it was unfinished as the designer and king (?) at the time died mysteriously at a young age and before it was done, but the parts that were done were just incredible. I dont even know how to describe them!! i mean in the fantasy castle the wood work in the bedroom was so detailed that to took 10 woodsman 4 years to complete! it was miraculous! we couldnt take pictures inside and it was not crowed enough to sneak them but i got some great pictures of the outside and the views from inside. We also took a horse and carriage up to teh castles which was great as well. Then dani and i had to book it to make the train to Munich so we could make our next train to berlin... im sure you can guess what happened... (go to Munich to find out... )
