Ah Paris, je n'ai pas le mot le decrire. For those of you that don't speak french i said that i didnt have the words to describe it (i think...ha!). Last night we saw so much! we took the metro to the Eiffel Tower just in time to see it light up. i got some amazing pictures but unfortunately i wont be able to upload them here...soon i hope. So, after seeing the Eiffel tower we walked along the Sienne (sp?) and ran into this sweet older couple from the south of France. They wanted Danielle to take a picture of the Eiffel Tower for them because they saw hers and said they couldnt get one like that because it kept coming out too dark but their camera didnt have the proper functions. It was funny though because once Dani figured out how to change the language on the camera they laughed because she did so. As we talked they told me my french was good but i KNOW they were lying. I knew enough to get the basic message across which was good. We took pictures with them so hopefully i can get those up soon. So after that we ended up at this carnival thingy near the Louvre. We went on this ferris wheel and it was awesome. we were joined by 2 girls from NY and kept getting spun by the ride operator. The girls also informed us that the metro stops running at 1am so we started walking in the direction of the metro station only to find that we had 15 minutes to catch 4 trains. Well, after a lot of running through the stations (i told you we would end up doing that at some point) we made it on 3 of the 4. Fortunately the last 1 let us off about a block from where we would have gotten off the 4th one so it wasnt so bad.

Well, now we are off to see the sights in the day and to get (hopefully) bigger back packs because the way the duffels hang is killing our shoulders.
