Hi everyone

We set off early from Lorne this morning and stopped for a few pictures between there and Apollo Bay. Had a hot chocolate in Apollo Bay (coz it was so bloody cold!!) and then hit the road again and drove to Cape Otway.

As we were driving two cars had stopped by the road & the passengers were looking up at a tree - they'd found a koala! It was very windy and was hanging onto the branches trying to sleep. We got some good pictures of it.

We saw the lighthouse at Cape Otway and had lunch there also. Driving back to the main road Lydia emergency stopped after seeing another koala in the tree, worrying she was looking up in the trees instead of the road tho! After lunch we drove to Johanna Beach. We were the only people there apart from two fisherman. The weather had picked up slightly but was still very windy. On our way back onto the Great Ocean Road involved us taking a shortcut along a very bumpy gravel road. Alastair's suspension isn't the best!!

Next stop was the Twelve Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge. Took some good pictures of the rock stacks which are contstantly being eroded by the sea and wind, another Geographical highlight!

Tonight we're going out for dinner at Nico's, he does unusual pizza toppings, like pear and feta! Then we'll drive the rest of the Great Ocean Road tomorrow before heading off to the Grampians.
