Hi everyone,

Just a quick update for you. Currently sitting at Cairns airport waiting to board the flight down to Sydney. Then tomorrow morning we fly to Christchurch and start our New Zealand adventure.

Met up with Mum and Dad again on Thursday and then Friday we flew out to Lizard Island in a Cessna Caravan! Amazing views over the Great Barieer Reef. Had a really relaxing time in Lizard Island on our exclusive 5 star resort. Scenery was spectacular. Dad and I went on a day trip to the outer reef, Dad dived and I snorkled and we both came to the conclusion that it is the best reef we have seen. Its seemed very healthy with lots of fish, coral and we saw sharks and a sea snake! Really good snorkling off the beach as well, so when we weren't catching a few rays we were face down in the crystal water. Got to snorkle with turtles yesterday which just made the trip. Food was excellant aswell. All in all a very special place. We have numerous photos of the monitor lizards and tree frogs that occupied the island, I will try and put them up soon.

Another 2 weeks then its home sweet home. Last day in Australia for me today which feels a bit strange, just like when we arrived the sun is shining!
