Saturday 14th May

We finally arrived in Iguazu around 11am, got our bags off the bus and mine was soaked right through! I tried to complain but was told that it's normal for the bags inside the bus to get wet when it rains! (even though Joe's was dry!) giving up we went to our hostel - couldn't check in till 2 here so had some lunch and waited around. 

We finally got our room and I had to lay my stuff around everywhere to dry! We showered etc then got the bus to the town. Wondered a while and stopped for a drink and some tapas (cheese, olives, meat & crackers) where we got collared by a man claiming to make clay portraits in 20 mins with his fingers! Being soft we agreed he'd make 3 for 100 pesos! It took him 20 mins to make all 3! They were hilarious - looked nothing like us (we have pics as unfortunately I binned them as they were too much hassle to carry!) 

Back to the hostel and we made a plan for the falls the next day until Joe realised Liverpool were playing Spurs and was not happy at all about missing it!
