We arrived in Rome late in the day after exploring Pompeii earlier that day, it was so hot even had a water fight in the van on the way.
When we got there we had dinner and met a kiwi couple after dinner and managed to get quite pissy till about 3 in the morning. This definitely didn't help us walking around the next day in the heat. We managed to see most of the popular sites in 2 days, by then we where sick of seeing the same sort of attractions over and over.
It is a beautiful place and well worth the visit so much history and so much to see. The last thing we had to do was take a photo of Satan our campervan in front of the vatican, got some good looks from people
