After leaving Venice we took the coast road south through Croatia. The first night we camped next to the beach in a the most expensive caravan park yet. The water is crystal clear and the land is so dry, the beaches seem to be where the sharp rocks finish and the smooth pebbles start. There is no sand anywhere and most people swim ins shoes.
The next day we drove to split and caught a ferry to hvar, a small island off the coast. Out here it is beautiful more of the same with the beaches. It is yacht week so there are so many huge boats. We chose to stay out of Satan in. Accommodation because the camp was too far out of town. There is a lot of night life with most clubs not getting busy till after 12.
Tomorrow we are going to head to Dubrovnik on the car ferry then onto another ferry to Bari in Italy
