Oh my word. What a day. Now this is a long long story and not one which can be told in full here, but in short; we caught 1 taxi (not 2), 2 ferries, 0 trains (not 2), 1 bus (not 2), and had 6 separate trips in police cars (not 5). Spent the morning at the Museum of the Revolution and afternoon old part of Havana, an ice-cream place and chocolate factory. Had a hot chocolate that was literally a bar of chocolate melted into a glass and heated - very sickly but welcomed after nearly three weeks without chocolate.

Walked around Havana in the heat. Rob gave a tour of the architecture and history of Cuba. Got scammed once (Local being very friendly and takingy you into cafe to ask for pen and paper to write down directions to a festival, ordering mojetos and leaving you with the bill) - second time refused the drink and bill annoying both the local and the bar man. Made the most of our buffet style breakfast (toast and cereal). Headed to the airport for flight to Havana, Cuba. A local posing as an official taxi person took us to Havana centre in his 1950s American style car. Soon noticed that most of the cars were like this and many broke down on a regular basis.
