Helloooooooooooo - ok so we have no come to the end of our Oz bus tour up the East Coast :-(
We have arrived in Cairns (this blog is a few days late) after Magnetic and Mission Beach. Not much to report about either - the weather on Magnetic wasn't so good (think i'm still still jinxed from Marbella Myers and Bud Bud!!!) which really effected the activities available, we managed to get there for the full moon but shouldn't have bothered really as it was nothing compared to our Thailand Full Moon rach ;-) The first night the boys cooked me chilli and we settled in to do the quiz at the hostel (crazy as we are!). We left early the morning after the full Moon to catch our bus to Mission.
We wanted to dive in Mission and maybe a bungee but the weather still wasn't at its best and diving was cancelled so we decided to cut our trip short there and do the bungee in Cairns instead thus our early arrival in Cairns. On route we stopped at a croc farm which was fab - they were so active and went for anyone that went near the cages, due to the weather apparently? When we went in you have the option of holding the baby crocs, snakes, lizards etc they had on show - after some talks and shows on the crocs we were able to feed the kangaroos - some were so lazy they expected you to come with them with the food! Just like you Graham! ;-
We have now arrived at the last stop of our East Coast tour and have checked into Gilligan's hostel - looking forward to what here has to offer and will update in a week or so when we/I move on.
