After my stay in Bali I went to New Zealand. Unfortunately my bag did not arrive together with me in Christchurch, but was still in Sydney where I had to transfer planes. This was certainly a bit of a disappointment...

Luckily I had two days before the tour was to start, so probably I would have my bag before starting the round-trip.

After filling in all forms concerning missing luggage and passing through customs I finally went to the backpackers-hostel at Cathedral Square.

I was happy that although it is winter in New Zealand the temperature was not that low, so my thick fleece vest gave me enough warmth.

After a quick shower and a small orientation walk through the centre of the city later it was already dinner time. The rest of the evening I spent on-line and I went to bed early since all this travelling made me quite tired.
