Monday was about relaxing again. The sun didn't come out as much as Sunday sadly. Though it was dryer for longer.
After some pool time we drove to International Drive for lunch at Friendlies. A tradition on Floridian trips, however Friendlies is beginning to show it age. Service was prompt & the food alright. Still the best thing to eat their though is the Sunday's! Our did not disappoint.
Memory is a funny thing. I always remember the Florida Mall as being massive. However it's much smaller than the Metro Centre in actual fact. The Macy's there, didn't even stock any Armarni Jeans clothing! I did manage to pick up a bargain pair of Calvin Klein swimming trunks though.
Despite our best plan not too, we ended driving home in rush hour in the rain. This was not a fun drive at all.
By the time we reached home the weather had started to clear up enough to get in the jacuzzi, still no sign of the sun.
We deliberated for quite some time about where to go for dinner. In the end we opted for Black Angus located just at the top of Old Lake Wilson road. We had been here previously and the food is decent enough. Your not going to get the best steak in the world in a tourist area. They did have a giant screen showing the final basketball game however which was a good accompaniment to dinner.
