I was up early so decided it was best to start the day off with a run & explore the local area. There isn't much around us apart from houses. I came out our gated community and ran up & down the community next door. Just over 3miles in the intense heat was enough for me.
Back at the villa with heavy cloud cover I wasn't sure what to do with myself. With the promise of nicer weather later in the day I decided to walk to Publix around 40 minutes away to grab some beer. Being a Sunday however they were not allowed to sell any alcohol until midday. I decided to try the pharmacy across the street & was in luck. Crossing the street put me over the county line. The sun had come out in force for my walk back & I was baking in the heat.
As soon as I was home I was straight in the pool to enjoy the sun. In the end I only had one of the beers I bought! Though I was able to enjoy a spell in the sun.
At four o clock Alex came to collect us to our rental car. On our way over the heavens opened & the rain started belting down.
We continued as planned with our dinner reservation at The Boathouse in Disney Springs. With a nice view out over the Lake from our window table. We enjoyed a tasty meal with some good banter along the way from our Aussie waitress. After dinner we had a brief walk around part of Disney Springs as the rain had stopped.
