"From Jakarta to Padang? 24 hours by bus, 2 hours by plane or 5 minutes by Superman"

With help I got a very good deal to go to Padang by Lion Air (about 30e). Had to wait a looong time at the airport though. But it's all part of it, the long hours in the bus, long hours at the airport, etc.

The sucky thing is that the domestic flights terminal didn't have an internet connection, so when I finally arrived in Padang I've no idea where I'm staying. I managed to get to the city and to an internet cafe, but against all odds it seems that all the hotels and hostels are full! I thought it's be empty here, due to the rain season and all. I'm still looking and I send an emergency couch request.. If I don't find anything I'll take a bus to Bukittinggi already, the mountain town where I wanted to go to in the first place. It would feel good to take a shower right about now though!

Oh and I had a really nice time with Sabrina before leaving, she let me to take a shower and a nap at her place (that was already over 24 hours ago). And before I didn't realize before I'd have to travel so far to Sumatra at once, but Deni told me it's very difficult to travel around the southern part. Better just go all the way to Padang at once. Here I am.
