In Laos at the min having even more fun. Met a group of guys on the bus ride over here so the 8 of us are staying in the same hostel- another $2 job its fantastic. Had the bus journey from hell over here- a woman the size of a tank got on the bus and we thought she must have paid for two seats, maybe even three but no she some how got half a leg on the chair and left the rest of here body swinging around the bus. At one point she decided to stand up for a bit- i was sat on the chair next to her and had her bum swaying in my face. Its was horrible i thought i was going to die, still having nightmares

Tubing is the activity here and its one of the best things i have ever done!!! It involves floating down the river in a rubber tube, floating from bar to bar drinking buckets and swinging from the rope swings or sliding down the slides or fighting in the mud. Would never pass health and saftey police back home thats for sure.

Day one of tubing we hit the first bar by 12 and started off on the beer, didn't want to go straight in for the buckets at that time. Here there was a massive zip wire into the river. The boys all completed the challenge of the zip line so i thought it would be rude not too. The climb up there was horrible so there was no way i was going back down them so off i set down the line. It was such an adrenaline rush i loved it, after that you couldn't keep me away from them. We walked o the next bar as it was a step away and ordered in the buckets to get us in the mood for tubing down to the next bar. Me and Abs teamed up on the tube and managed the first landing pretty well. The 3rd bar had a massive dance floor so we enjyed throwing some shapes around that for a bit. The next bar was by far my favourite place and really showed my childish side. It had two huge mud pits and a volly ball net. I jumped straight in and came out covered in mud head to toe it was brilliant. The girls chickened out so i had a tug of war with the boys and tried to play volly bar which was impossible but lots of fun!!! Can still taste the mud now.It was time to cross the river now and the current was pretty strong, however we made it as they have little Loa guys throwing ropes out for you to catch. There were three more bars after this all on the same side and i was really looking forward to going down the slide at the last bar, however they said we were too late as it was 8.30 and very dark so they sent us home : ( i tried to argue with the man (mum taught me well- i even asked for the manager but apparently they didn't have one!!) Got back to the hostel to have a quick shower then headed out again for some more fun and games down at sunset, a bar with Hammocks.

Needless to say we were all feeling very sorry for ourselves the next day so gave tubing a miss and just chilled out in the bars. Swordy left us here : (. Secomd day of tubing was pretty similar but even more fun as we lost our tubes at one bar so had to swim it over to the over side. i made it in no time, however sharky really stuggled and we thought he wasn't going to make it at one point- very scarry!!! he pulled through in the end. Thank god!! as we learnt later that some died that day as they lost their tube and couldn't swim very well. On a lighter note i got to go down the slide Yippeeeee even though no-one else would do it, i climbed those stairs and flung myself down the slide it was great.

One thing i have learnt about myself is that im a bit of an adrenaline junkie. Everyone thinks i'm slightly crazy as i loved doing all the swings and mud fighting and slide.

Have had a few injuries though including a few broken toes and very sore legs from the rocks. Also broke my camera : ( but still enjoying my time !!!

Off to Vietnam on monday after one more day of tubing Yippeeeeeee
