The final destination with Hannah's Mum and Dad was Phuket in Thailand. I think everyone had been look forward to this as it gave us a chance to relax by the pool. The hotel we were staying in was a Marriott and more like an apartment complex than a hotel. Our suite had two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a massive lounge and kitchen area! Even a washing machine and tumble dryer which we both got very excited about as we (Hannah) could do our washing properly. Near the resort there was a beach and a small shopping mall with a supermarket, pub and an ice cream parlour. The night we got there we ordered a takeaway from a local restaurant and had it in the room. This seemed to be much better than eating in the hotel itself as it was pretty overpriced there. 

The following week was spent sunbathing by the pool, eating Hannah's fabulous home made sandwiches (yum!), cooking a few tasty dinners in our own kitchen (how we've missed cooking for ourselves!), eating at the great local pub and occasionally going for walks. One night we even got treated to a spectacular thunderstorm, the lightning was right over the top of our hotel complex at one point and provided some great entertainment. The best storm we've ever seen! A great week of relaxation was had by all. It was now time to say goodbye to Hannah's Mum and Dad though (thank you for an amazing time!) and say hello to two weeks with some of my family :-).
