Batemans Bay!

We arrived at Batemans Bay on the 7th November and checked into a Bluebar Pub which was a compleat dive but was only for one night. when we arrived we dumped our stuff in the room and went out for dinner. On our way to dinner we met martyn again who we had met at lakes entrance by complete coincidence, he informed us he was staying at the YHA us the road and invited us up there for a few drinks which we accepted and went to after dinner.

Tuesday 8th November, we woke up early after not much sleep and booked ourselves straight into the YHA, we met two other people Jen and Tyler who are from canada. We all spent the day together at the 'local' beach which was a 4km walk away, typically as we got to the beach it became overcast so we headed back to the hostel when the heavans opened as we were walking. We stoped in this little cafe and had a hot chocolate and cake whilst chatting until the rain stopped. by the time we got back to the hostel we were all shatterd so we got the drinks in and played cards at the hostel, circle of death was not a good idea and we all got quite drunk!!.

Wednesday 9th November. After the storm it was surprisingly still really warm and humid not that we are complaining. Me and sarah went for a look around the shops and walked back to the gostel where will chilled out by the pool for the rest of the day. Everyone we had met at the hostel was leaving the next day so we decided to part by having a BBQ which was really nice.

Thursday 10th November!! Moving onto Canberra.. we are ready for some civilisation!!
