We have now spent 2 days in Peru and are just about getting used to the altitude. good thing really as tomorrow morning we head off on a 4 day trek! should be interesting! Over the couple of days we have been here we have been wandering all over the city to see whats around. On the first day we went on a city tour which took us around a lot of old Inca ruins and temples that was quite interesting to see...albeit not all that impressive. Hopefully Machu Picchu wil...

Not a lot to say about Lima. It was probably the most disappointing city we've visited so far as we could not find a huge amount to do there that interested us. If we had our time over we both agreed that we would have skipped Lima and gone straight to Cuzco, where we are now and spent a bit longer here. However...it was worth seeing, if for nothing else than just the experience.
