We have now spent 2 days in Peru and are just about getting used to the altitude. good thing really as tomorrow morning we head off on a 4 day trek! should be interesting! Over the couple of days we have been here we have been wandering all over the city to see whats around. On the first day we went on a city tour which took us around a lot of old Inca ruins and temples that was quite interesting to see...albeit not all that impressive. Hopefully Machu Picchu will be as stunning as the picture here suggests when we eventually arrive there after the hike. For those waiting to see pictures...we are having a few problems in that not many computers here have cd drives and so we cant load them onto the site. As soon as we find somewhere to load them...there will be a LOT more pictures to look at. We will add more when we return from the trek!
