Signing off.... This is the final stop of our trip, meant to be the relaxing wind down before heading home. And this is exactly what it has been. We had no problems upon arrival and settled straight into our hostel when we arrived at about 11 in the evening on wednesday. Thursday proved to be our present buying day followed by a whole afternoon laying on the beach. We also picked up our souvenior tattoos on the beach here too....dont worry mums, they arent real...

This was the first stop on our trip. After being greeted with a slightly dodgy looking hostel we soon realised that this was a great city, with beautiful sandy beaches and beautiful views from every mountain, especially sugar loaf mountain (pictured). The highlight of our stay here was the tour of Roçinha, the biggest favela in brazil that overlooks much of Rio.
