Queenstown: Our skiing mission begins!!!!! Yes we chose to battle with the slops of Queenstown, the capital of skiing in New Zealand. From Dunedin we headed south to Invercargill but only for a one night stopover. We did drive to Bluff which is the most southern town in New Zealand. From Christchurch we headed across the Canterbury region to the Mount Cook national park. We had to drive through an area which had received the worst snow in over 15 years and it was deep, just like when we were kids. Due to the snow the drive was absolutely amazing with a blanket of white covering everything. Don't think the locals thought the same as some had been without power for 14 days!
