A beautiful day amidst the dunes. The sun has come out, thank goodness, and the tent is slowly drying. Lots to clean up this morning, sand and water everywhere. Breakfast and later down to the surf beach, Sach had a bit of a fish and the girls ran around like crazy things and I even got to start reading a book. All great until Jaz fell down in the water and the waves nearly dragged her back out with them - the child naked in the freezing cold at this stage! A bit of a fright and I had to carry her most of the way back to the camp hard work with stuff and sand dunes to manage. Tenille helped though so all was good. Sach came back later and went off for a ride on his bike on the dunes, he said it was great and at one stage had been riding alongside some kangaroos, got really close. He also went over a couple of times - off the edgew of the dunes because you couldn't see it was a big drop off over the edge - he had fun! Afterwards he took the girls for a putter around and they screamed with the joy of it. Tenille did some of her school work later and read her Magic School Bus Goes to the Moon & Where the Wild Things Are & The Gruffalo and we played cards. Beautiful sunset and a gorgeous night out here in the middle of nowhere - Dog Fence Beach, Nundroo.
