Young and old alike

take bicycles when they go out

common as their transportation

in this city of bicycles, Münster.

Surrounded with trees and gardens

beautiful and indeed, an attraction

those flowers how blossom

like the ones in London gardens.

Seeing blonde men and women

with blue eyes and Caucasian countenance

God's gift to their beauty

nature's revelation to humanity.

They speak another language

Deutch, their mother tongue

amazes me with a strong wish

that I could speak Deutch.

In my short summer holiday

I stayed with a German family

happy and grateful for their hospitality

for their friendship and generosity.

Being a stranger or a pilgrim

who's open to welcome any challenge

a learning experience; a quest for what is real

coexistence with other cultures.
