So yesterday and today have been pretty quiet. Yesterday was the ferry and coach ride combo back to Bangkok from koh tao which was fairly easy... We managed to get the front seats on the coach... Leg room!!!!

After arriving in Bangkok we checked into our hotel and quickly realised songkran was starting as people fled to the street with water cannons. After some food we hit the hay.

Today has been a day of not a lot. We checked into our new hotel which we were led to believe was near the airport.... No, no it isn't. Nor is the hotel anything like advertised. By the evening we were actually a little scared by the goings on outside, the fact we hadn't seen any other guests, the dodgy restaurant and the constant power cuts... The answer... Sleep it out! However due to dodgy looking stains on our sheets... Sleeping bags seemed the way to go!

We decided that after our nights sleep we would leave the hotel ASAP and head for the airport and chill there until our flight to australia in the evening
