I'm so glad I could come back here a second time so soon after my last visit in May! And bringing Dad, Josh and Jes made it a really great few days!!

We were met at the airport and taken to the villa we booked. It's so nice and big and the pool is great!! We spent our first night wandering to the beach, having a beer and then finding dinner along the trip home - just fried rice/noodles for tonight! We got some food/drinks from the supermarket and spent some time in the pool then it was off to bed!

Tuesday was our most full-on day. We had a full day trip with the driver from the villa and we went up north to Ubud and Tanah Lot. The markets in Ubud were great - we all spent a lot haha! I got a Bintang shirt (to match my singlet from last time!) and a sarong! Also a shirt that says "Centrelink - living the dream" which I just couldn't walk past!! We went to Tanah Lot and saw the rice terraces, we also went through a Luwak coffee shop and did some tasting which was cool, even the second time around. It was about 6pm when we got back to the villa and we just had dinner nearby. Tonight we found this great Chinese place and ordered wayyy too much which was great haha a beer in the pool finished off our day!

Wednesday was the boys day - they rented motorbikes and off they went! Jess and I enjoyed a chill day just hanging by the pool, watching tv and napping! By the sounds of it the boys had a blast weaving through the traffic and learning how to navigate the roads with an anything-goes driving attitude! They were out most of the day, arriving back just after 5pm in time for a drink and a dip down the beach. Although Josh's fail of the day meant the bike ended up in the pool (along with his phone!) so that put a damper on things hahahaha! Na the bike was fine, and we got our beers at the beach followed by epic burgers for dinner. But solid entertainment thanks to a stuff up only Josh would be capable of!

Thursday we had breakfast at the villa then headed to Canggu so the boys could have surf lessons - while Jess and I enjoyed a coke and the views from the sand! It was a good place to learn for them but dad wiped out after about half an hour because he couldn't hack it. Josh did a bit better but neither got the full two-hours worth! I was impressed that Josh had the coordination to get up a few times, he did pretty well! We had lunch at a beach-side cafe then went back to the villa and chilled for a bit in the arvo. For sunset we headed down to Jimbaran beach then got some takeaway to eat the villa! The last night in Bali for dad and I so we sat up drinking and talking s*** which was great!

On Friday we got up and checked out of the villa. We had lunch in Denpasar itself which was yum! Josh and Jess dropped us to the airport in an Uber then they kept going - they've got another 3 days to enjoy! Dad and I checked in and got our flight across to Kuala Lumpur at 4pm!

Not sure when I'll be back in Bali next but it's definitely a place I'll keep coming to!!
