Back again.... first afternoon of diving the other day (I seriously have no idea what day it is) went OK hated the mask clearing which took about half an hour to do. I think Angus the instructor was getting a litltle frustrated ha ha .
The girls ran into Mark (the guy I used to work with) and organised for us to have dinner with him so met up at our guest house and went out for seafood dinner which I have come to quite like.
Because I had to get up early to be out on the boat at 7.30 I left early...... and then I started to feel really sick. Honest to god I thought I wanted to die I have never felt so ill in all my life! Up all night with Tracy doing a fantastic job playing mum.
So no diving that day for me I was just stuck in the room and was even to ill to go out with the others to watch the Abs and wallabies game. Finally managed to get out of bed at about 7pm and met the girls for dinner before going straight back to bed.
So with day 2 of diving delayed a day I got as new instructor, Vicki cos Angus had to go on a visa run to Malaysia which worked out really well because Vicki was great and I felt much more relaxed with her. Camille went off to Phuket for a couple of days for a look around.
We dived 2 sites and I loved it, even getting better and the mask clearing. The water at the moment is about 30 degrees so its really warm and an hour underwater goes really quickly. I had to go back that night for theory and then.... I was sick again!
So... another long night although nothing like the other night and I managed to get enough sleep to be able to get up early for my last day out on the water. Another 2 dives - sharks and rays too! Practical all done, time to do some study for the exam and have a nap.
I passed! Am now an open water diver! How exciting :)
Went out to celebrate with pizza and a diet coke ha ha cos still not feeling 100%
Camille arrives back for Phuket today and we are heading back to Ao nang beach, Krabi on the 2pm ferry. Feeling much better today so I might go for a walk to the view point this morning and follow the tsunami evacuation route and maybe even a swim or 4!
