Time is flying! ......Arrived back in Saigon on Monday morning and went back into the city to meet up with Tracy, grabbed some lunch and a couple of tigers before heading back out to the airport to catch our flight back to Bangkok.

Our one night in Bangkok... and what a night it was! Started off with dinner and wtching a fireshow / magic show on Khaosan before finding a bar and settling down with a bucket.

One turned into 3 (to make it even) which became 6 (again to make it even) which became 7 (thanks to Ms Glynn I think!). We got chatting to a couple of english guys and decided to go to another bar with them.

The bar was closed (apparently it was 2am) so we went to this late night club which cost a fortune to get into but was so much fun! The dance area was separate and air conditioned so it was bliss.

Got in at 5am so with very little sleep and very possibly still slightly drunk we got a taxi to the airport for our flight to Krabi, got stuck in traffic then dropped at wrong end of airport so had to run with backpack on all the way to the other end which is a VERY long way. Check in had closed so our bags missed the flight but WE made it!

Stayed on AoNang beach for the night cos we had to go back to get our bags off the next flight and on Tuesday caught the boat over here to Phi Phi.

Tuesay was a very lazy day - swimming and wandering around (even ran into a guy I used to work with - how random is that!)

After dinner and a few beers we went to the sports bar for quiz night and guess what! 2 Kiwis and a pom won! We got 2000 baht whuch paid for our buckets and a nights accommodation. Carried on to Tiger bar for a while then I piked and left the other 2 to it at about 3am... When Tracy got in not long after me I was sitting up in bed eating chips, m&ms and a kit kat (whoops)

Yesterday was a trip out to the islands and beaches for swimming & snorkelling - Phi phi lei ("The beach"), Monkey beach, bamboo island and a whole heap of others.

Last night was a very quiet one dinner and bed ready for an early start this morning.

Dive course started and having done the first bit of theory but instructor is sick so doing the skills bit this afternoon - get one on one tuition too without paying any extra (fingers crossed no one else signs up this morning)

Anyway... loving Phi Phi and happy to stay the extra few days, will give us time to decide where to head to next.
