So the poor children of Madagascar will not be enjoying a water fight - the miserable check in girl just said no and that was it!
A long journey but we arrived safely at our hotel in Antananarivo at about 1am!
Not much sleep with the creaky floor above us but a nice breakfast started our day off well. Charly (or Haja) our driver/guide picked us up on time (unusual in Madagascar apparently) and we headed out of town for the trip south to Antsirabe. Lots of photo stops en route, Charly will get used to my requests! A stop for lunch provided the rice and vegetables we had been warned of but it was actually quite nice (not sure how we will feel after 10 days of it though!)
Relaxing night tonight and early bed to catch up on that much needed sleep.
Ranomafana tomorrow and hopefully a Giraffe Weevil spot tomorrow!
