Graeme round the world
Day 41 Thurs 4th May. Last nights dinner consisted of potato wedges, wine and a cocktail of absynth and baileys, not very healthy, but fun :o) Not such a good idea though when you have to get up at 5.30am! Went itno the Waitomo Glow Worm Caves, which was amazing, the boat ride in the pitch black so you could see all the glow worms ligthing up the tunnels was fab :o) Visited a farm, fed the sheep and Emus and saw sheep shearing exhibition. Visited Rainbow springs and saw Rainbow trout and Kiwis. Next onto Rotorua to see the mud pools at 200 degrees C and the famous Pohutu Geyser which was blasting out boiling hot water, which smelt very strongly of sulphur, but fab to watch. Am staying overnight in Rotorua and just off to a Maori traditional meal called a Hangi and concert :o)
