Day 45 Mon 8th May. Up at 5.45 for 6 hour journey to Milford Sound, fab mountain and lake views on the way also passed through the enchanted forest from the Lord of the Rings. Day 44 Sun 7th May - Half way round :o) Arrived yesterday in Christchurch after the short flight between the islands, went up the cable car over looking the town to watch the sun set over the mountains. Day 43 Sat 6th May Went to the top of Sky Tower during the daylight and stood on the glass panel on the elevator from on the way up and walked over the glass panels at the top, which was really scary..............see pic. Day 42 Friday 5th May Last night was brilliant as the Maori's got us up on stage to do the Haka with them and gave us a wooden necklace for our 'bravery' A group of Japanese tourists then grabbed us to dance in couples on stage, so had a real fun evening with them. My room was fab with a huge lounge a triple bed and two balconies, they gave me a complimentary upgrade, but there was a note in the room from the manager to Rob, so they may have upgraded me by mistak...

Day 41 Thurs 4th May. Last nights dinner consisted of potato wedges, wine and a cocktail of absynth and baileys, not very healthy, but fun :o) Not such a good idea though when you have to get up at 5.30am! Went itno the Waitomo Glow Worm Caves, which was amazing, the boat ride in the pitch black so you could see all the glow worms ligthing up the tunnels was fab :o) Visited a farm, fed the sheep and Emus and saw sheep shearing exhibition.
