Over 24 hours in the Caribbean and I don't think I ever want to leave -- just gotta get the kids and Steve down here cuz I'm missing them. I video chatted with Rachel and Blue a bit this afternoon and it made me miss them horribly. But not enough to dampen my mood!

It's been raining a bit on and off today and Tammy and I are being lazy just hanging around the resort. I took my first real dip in the ocean earlier and walked around a got some nice photos (which if I can figure out how to upload, I will.)

Yesterday Tammy and I had a couple of cocktails here at the resort (Mojito Coldas are devine...let me tell you!) And then we drove around the island checking stuff out for awhile. Came back after dark and got dinner. Let me tell you, all-inclusive resorts are the way to go. I have never felt so spoiled in my life! I took a bath in the jacuzzi tub in our studio last night and have drank more alcohol in the last two days that I usually do in months! Not a bad time, really. The food is delicious, although the service is definably on "Island Time". Everyone here is so friendly it's ridiculous and I feel completely safe despite it being the middle of a pandemic.

Tammy and I made appointments at the spa tomorrow. She will be getting a Mani/pedi and I am getting an 80min massage. Ahhhhhh...no other plans for tomorrow for now. It does look like we may see a bit of rain here and there the next few days. And you know what? I don't even care if it rains!
