Quite an overcast New York morning - obviously rained overnight. Plenty of sorting, reorganising and packing happening for impending departure. Woke up to our first overcast New York morning - just a little cooler though humid. Roey headed off of take some photos then meet the boys in Central Park. We walked back along 42nd St to subway and caught train to 34th st/Penn station. After a coffee was time for shopping as we both needed shoes for the wedding. Up and at it on another perfect New York morning. Subway downtown to World Trade Centre where we met Kerry and Graeme for coffee before the boys (finally!) arrived and we walked down to the ground zero site. The six of us (the 5 boys booked in for later as all sessions need to be prebooked) proceeded through the entry and security before you actually enter the site. Another beautiful warm and sunny morning in New York City! Roey headed off before us to shop for a new camera and we met him on the Highline after getting the subway to 34th st and walking across to 30th and 10th. This is fabulous - an old eyesore that was once an elevated railroad for freight is now a wonderful walkway, all the way down to 13th st, with shrubs, flowers, seating and ample viewing areas down to the city below.
